Yes. You earn naira and coins from matches, the daily reward and the Street Pass, and spend them in the Market. There is nothing to buy with real money.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, on Android and iPhone. Turn the phone sideways; the touch controls are built in, and you can move them around in Settings. On a computer, play with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Open the link and play in the browser. If you want an icon on your home screen, install it as an app; it updates itself.
